The Power of Wind, Water, and Time

Slow and steady wins the race.

These next couple of videos and pictures show the Slot Canyons found in Southwestern USA (Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, and New Mexico). They are often very thin in width (3 ft) but very deep in length (100 feet).  They are formed by years of wind and water erosion. Sun drops down from above and creates these stunning images.  They are mostly made of sand rock and limestone but they can also be made up of granite and basalt.
